The
Dave Edmunds Trombone Donation!
A box arrived
at the back door and it was painted green, and addressed to Scullsoup.
I peeled apart the well engineered box, and inside was a sweet dentless
Olds Trombone, a few old rags, some hand written sheet music, and
a bottle of slide oil to boot. There was a letter also, it read:
Scullsoup,
I saw your band in Toledo, OH at The Long Horn Saloon. I was somewhat
surprised when your singer pulled out his trombone and began to
play it. Later on that week while reading your web page,I found
that you accepted trombone donations. I have three of them, and
this one has not been played since I was kicked out of band in High
School. Its a Olds and its a C. I play an A in my trio.So, I thought
it would be a great addition to your "smashed" collection.
If you get a chance send me photos of it after the show. Its probably
worth around $500, but I am not too needy. Keep on making music.

found a number of disturbing pencil drawings in my lyric pad after
the stinkyfinger set at the casbah. seems Scull Soup's drummer chris
had been doodling within whilst we were playing. this image is an

Thanks
a bunch to all those who turned out for the last slew of
shows!
We appreciate it. We had a blast with our brothers Legbone,
and
all the other bands we played with including Morbid
Toothbrush!
We went to Charlotte and played the Milestone again.
Cool
room with a big history. It gives me chills everytime I look up
and see the Bad Brains tags on the ceiling. We played Johnson City
at The Hideaway. Great show hadda blast with Legbone in tow and
The Love Drunks, and PPR from Atlanta. No let down there! Then on
to Bristol for an all ages show. It has been a minute since we have
played this stage. The turnout was great and The Hypodermix were
ready to blast em! Hypodermix to Scullsoup to Legbone... Fun ass
show! After that show we all went to The Hideaway to see MC Chris
and had a marvelous time Breakdancing and Skating in the club after
Stopsogn Asshole played at 2 in tha mornin....Best weekend all year!

to hang out with Hank III.

out with Angelo Moore, and Norwood Fisher, and Rocky George
formally of Suicidal Tendencies, and Body Count. Meeting Angelo
and Norwood to me was like, meeting Flava Flav and Chuck D
....
