You may have noticed there haven't been any new Mathons plugs for a while, well
now it's time to tell you why. The Firewire Guitar has been taking up all our
programming time, as weve been creating a range of hexaphonic FX to work with
it, that's right, with a pickup for each string going straight into a laptop there's
a whole range of new sounds to be had. At the moment we're playing around with polyphonic
distortion (sounds very different), autopanning for each string, a Chopitch on each string,
a sub-octave bass effect and a new pitch shift algorithm which not only gives better tracking
than that offered by a well known Japanese company, but also allows pedal steel
type effects on selected strings.

We're also looking into an easier way to handle the online registration for our
plug-ins, we'd rather it was a bit easier than the current system.
