The Erasmus Foundation
Welcome to the Erasmus Spiritual Teaching and Healing Foundation,
based in Laxfield in Suffolk, England. This
fellowship was established by Lady Paddina and
Gordon Cole in 1972, when spirit first started using Paddina as a channel
to talk through and give lectures. In those early days Paddina's main spiritual
tutorial guide was Ruscora, who during his life on Earth, was better known
to us as the Dutch philosopher and humanist, Desiderius Erasmus. The lectures
and discussions were given to answer many questions about "life after death,
where we come from, why we are here and the purpose of life". Many of these
talks, given by Erasmus and other
spiritual tutors over the years, gave a great deal of knowledge about
the structure of man, his history, his true inheritance and answered many
of the questions of life.
Our belief is in the one God, we call The Great Mind, reincarnation and the need to experience many different lives in order to evolve spiritually, until the day dawns when we have become so old, so wise and so evolved that we might then become an ancient spirit and no longer have the need to come to this University of Life again for our progression.
Sadly, both Paddina and Gordon have returned Home but the Foundation continues to grow with many friends and associates all over the world whilst being maintained by trustees and a committee who ensure this charity and source of great knowledge continues to help those who seek wisdom and the benefit of natural healing.
Gordon Healing Clinic
We also believe that healing is of great importance in the world today. At our healing clinic natural healing is offered to anyone who asks for help and we make no charge, for it is a gift given to some by the Great Mind. As the healers develop spiritually, by learning to know and understand themselves, and as they use their gift to help others, the healing becomes stronger. It is the greatest gift the Great Mind can give and something all healers are taught to treasure.
Seminars and Lectures
Many meetings and seminars are held throughout the year when the
teachings from Spirit are taught and discussed. We also hold meditation classes once a month.
We have many transcripts and tapes of numerous lectures spanning 30 years that we refer to, plus the continued guidance that we receive from Spirit through our sensitive friends in the Foundation.
The Peace Gardens
We feel that there is a growing awareness of Spirit and an interest in many of the subjects that we have been taught, such as, Healing, the Natural Law and the Tapestry of Life. We are endeavouring, as a group, to take these teachings out to people and to welcome people to the Foundation's base in Laxfield. The Peace Gardens at the Foundation are most beautiful and available to anyone at any time if they get in touch beforehand, and offer a place for people to sit and browse, to meditate or simply to get away from the pace and stress of daily life.
