Dj "S"
His real name is Stathis Koutsoukeras and he was born in 10/8/1972 in Larissa, Greece. He began his career as a DJ in 1987. His lasting and impressive presence at the Greek DMC contest has earned him twice the 2nd and 3rd prize in the year 1992-93. From 1989 to 1996 - apart from dj-ing - he was occupied providing music messages to radio stations. Since then, 1996, he is the official - in their live concerts - dj of the Greek rap group ''Goin' Through''. During the last years he is dedicated to hip-hop productions. His influences derive from soul, jazz, funk and classical music. He is one of the most remarkable dj's that represent this art.
His occupation in the field of music productions started in 1997, when he participated with one instrumental song in the greatest hip-hop compilation in Greece called ''Big Time Business''. At the end of the year 1998, he officially got connected to an upcoming young mc/lyricist - back then called Ominus - and together they formed the successful hip-hop duet ''Ominus & Dj 'S'''. Within the next months they were continually recording new tracks in a full-time mode and as a result they released 2 official Lp's called ''Ominus Rissi'' (2002) and ''Ominus Odysseia'' (2004) - respectively, under the wing of the historical greek record label ''Lyra'' -.
In the year 2006 OMINUS & DJ "S" decided to depart ways with their previous record label due to a better deal offering from Universal Records and since then they belong to its recording artists' roster. The first official release from their new recording home is the cd-single called ''My Life'' - in collaboration with Giorgos Tsalikis, one of the most famous pop singers in Greece - . The result of this collaboration turned out as one of the biggest radio hits in Greece. Nowadays, while maintaining his original craft as a dj, he continues to preserve his name as one of the best resident djs wide across the biggest clubs of Athens and suburbs. He is one of the main hosts in ''Streetbeat'' & ''Streetbeat Weekend Edition'', weekly television music shows on ''Mad Tv'', the only greek music channel.
