Screen Capture
- The process of creating one or more digital images from the computer's display for later use.
Video Screen Capture
- The process of capturing a series of digital images and optionally recording sound which is combined into a video file format for later playback.
Image Editing
- The process of changing and manipulating graphics often using effects such as blur and sharpen, operations such as rotate, scale and crop and drawing tools to tweak or annotate images.
Print Screen Key
- A curiously named keyboard button that does not actually print the screen.
- A keyboard button that copies some of the contents of the entire desktop to the clipboard. This is often used in conjunction with another application to paste the image from the clipboard, crop out the undesired area and then save the image.
- A keyboard button that is thoroughly unable capture video or tweak image captures.
- A keyboard button that usually includes large black areas when a trying to capture from media player application.
