We are the home of FBCx™ the dietary fiber with the odd name but great results. Please explore our site. If you see something on this website that you simply cannot believe, feel free to contact us and we will do our best to answer your question.
FBCx™ is an all natural, non-genetically modified polymer that has demonstrated a remarkable ability to bind dietary fat (triglyceride), thus preventing absorption of a portion of your dietary fat.
Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS) status was approved by FDA. Our first US patent has been issued. More US and World patents are pending. FBCx™ binds nine to ten times its weight in fat. A double blind clinical trial with obese diabetic volunteers has been completed, these results as well as pre-clinical (anecdotal) data indicate:

  • Significant weight loss amongst all participants
  • Decreases in serum triglyceride levels of more than 20% within two months
  • Decreases in serum cholesterol of up to 20% within six months
  • Decreases in LDL cholesterol of 15-25% within six months
  • Significant reduction in the amount of blood pressure medication required

Drs. K-L Catherine Jen and Joseph Artiss discovered this technology in their day jobs as faculty at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. They acquired this technology from the university, and along with our two friends Arthur Barat and Avril Farlam, formed ArtJen. The odd name is actually an acronym for Fat Binding Complexer.

We know that you are tired of diets and exercise programs, and that you have run out of time and patience for both of them. So have we. Our early interest in FBCx™ involved a very specific condition that was a result of diabetes; much to our surprise it has proven to have much greater possibilities.

Try to imagine, a diet program that does not involve a diet! Two tablets per meal, three meals a day with a normal 2,000 kcal/day diet results in just 1,500 kcal/day getting absorbed into your system. As an added bonus it appears that, from our early data, that you won’t even notice that you are absorbing 25% fewer calories.
