Let me start by first apologising for the amount of time It’s taken to get this forum up and running again, sorry guys I’ve been really busy working on other websites and communities. I’ve also been busy working on our new homepage, updating It with information you just have to know and the latest news and stuff from Google. I currently write and have written all the articles on the homepage so feel free to make comments as often as you like.

Whats new? Well not much to be honest! We’ve updated Vbulletin to 3.6.0 Gold and decided to keep the default theme since no one really cares about graphical themes anyway! We’ve got our little logo up there, thats all we really need!

As you should be aware of, link building plays a huge role in search engine optimization and It can be easily done no matter what kind of website you have. I’ve always been a strong believer in website directories despite what alot of other people have said, because It’s always worked for me, and I just wanted to share a little resource with you to help you track down those free directories.

The Digital Point community have an area for new website directory solicitations and announcements where webmasters who have just finished starting up a new directory or have come back to advertise specials and what else come and post a link. In my opinion its probably the best, continuously-updated list of directories so check It out.

For anyone that doesn’t know what a podcast Is It’s basically an online radio show that consists of a topic, one or more hosts and sometimes a guest speaker. Net Income is a new postcast hosted by Jeremy Shoemaker about making money with Google AdSense, affiliating, search engine optimization and other monetization topics. Jeremy’s well known on the Internet as Shoemoney for the large amount of money he makes from his websites and his great knowledge for online internet and niche marketing. If you don’t mind a little noise while you work you should have a go at listening to the show and pick up some nice tips from the big guys.

If you’re into making money with Google AdSense I’m sure you’ve heard of the term ‘Adsense Arbitrage’ before and you probably already know what It is, or you may not. Let me explain. AdSense Artbitrage is a money making method using both AdWords and Adsense to generate profit. Basically you pay to advetise your AdSense websites with Goolge AdWords. You spend money to make money. Open Source Web Design offers a collection of website templates for all kinds of websites. Not only can you use the templates for ‘Made for Adsense’ sites but some of them are nice enough to use on your more larger website projects. All the templates are free and have been submited by designers from all over the world and definitely worth the look when you get the chance.

Google are currently testing video ads as an option for publishers. Advertisers can build video ads on a CPC or CPM basis that can be displayed on specific websites or by targeted keywords, like Google’s other advertisments. The videos do not automatically play when the website page loads up, Instead, the visitor must click-to-play the short video, where the publisher will earn revenue for the playing of a video.

The new video ads should like a great addition to a website because It is interactive and new. Publishers who have beta tested the new product have reported an increase in CTR and profit per click.

As an AdSense publisher I’ve been looking around for a niche research tool to help me pick topics to start websites on.
