“Let us never forget that government is ourselves and not an alien power over us. The ultimate rulers of our democracy are not a President and senators and congressmen and government officials, but the voters of this country.”

Our Mission:

This organization is dedicated to educating children and empowering the disenfranchised voters of the United States of America to get registered, get informed, and make their voices heard by participating in the democratic process and voting.

How will we do this?

As an organization founded by educators, our initial goal was to provide K-6 teachers with free classroom lessons that get students excited about the democratic process while teaching the civic responsibility of voting. We have done this. Now we are refining our material and in the process of writing our second book. In time this will extend into a K-12 program.

What makes this project special?

Teachers are encouraged to hand out voter registration cards to students upon completing the lessons.  We want students to serve as educators themselves by trying to find an adult in his or her family to get registered to vote.
